Day-wise Itinerary

Receive warm welcome at Skardu Airport or drive-in. Transfer to the gorgeous Shangrila Resort (Heart Lake). Relax by the lake and enjoy a paddle boat ride. Overnight stay at Shangrila Resort.

Hike to the pristine Upper Kachura Lake for boating and fresh trout. Afternoon visit to the unique Katpana Cold Desert to watch sunset over sand dunes with snow-capped peaks behind. Overnight in Skardu.

Board your 4x4 safari jeep for Deosai National Park, the second-highest plateau on earth. Visit Sadpara Lake, Sheosar Lake, and Bara Pani. Spot Himalayan brown bears if lucky. Return to Skardu for overnight.

Travel to the historical Shigar Valley. Explore the majestic 400-year-old Serena Shigar Fort, the blind lake, and the serene apple orchards. Return to Skardu for a cozy campfire dinner. Overnight in Skardu.
