Day-wise Itinerary

Depart early from Islamabad. Drive along the scenic Murree Expressway. Reach Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir, and follow the rushing Neelum River to Keran. Overnight stay in Keran at a premium riverside resort.

Breakfast by the river. Drive further into Neelum Valley towards Sharda. Explore the historic Sharda Peeth university ruins, dating back thousands of years. Relax by the riverbanks. Overnight in Sharda.

Drive from Sharda to Kel. Board the exciting cable car or take the trekking trail up to Arang Kel, the lush green pearl of Neelum Valley. Spend the day walking among fairy-tale wooden huts. Overnight in Kel/Sharda.

Travel back down the valley. Take a detour to visit the gorgeous Kutton waterfall and check into a premium wood lodge. Enjoy fresh stream trout dinner. Overnight in Kutton.

Board the rugged local 4x4 jeeps for an adventurous mountain pass climb towards the spectacular high-altitude Ratti Gali alpine lake. Hike to the lake edge. Return to Kutton for overnight.

Breakfast at resort. Drive back via Muzaffarabad. Stop for hot local Kashmiri tea. Arrive in Islamabad by evening. End of services!
