Day-wise Itinerary

Early morning departure from Islamabad. Travel along the scenic Hazara Motorway and the historic Karakoram Highway. Short stays at Besham and Summer Nala. Overnight stay at Chilas.

Breakfast in Chilas. Depart for Karimabad. Enjoy magnificent views at the junction point of three highest mountain ranges and Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Visit Altit Fort and Karimabad Bazaar. Overnight in Karimabad.

Drive to the gorgeous turquoise Attabad Lake. Enjoy boating and jet-skiing. Continue drive to the towering Passu Cones and walk on the thrilling Hussaini Suspension Bridge. Overnight in Gulmit/Passu.

Travel to the highest paved international border crossing in the world at Khunjerab Pass (4,693 meters). View unique wildlife of Khunjerab National Park. Return to Karimabad for overnight stay.

Spend the morning exploring Karimabad. Visit the 700-year-old Baltit Fort and hike to Duiker (Eagle's Nest) for a spectacular panoramic sunset view over Hunza and Nagar valleys. Overnight in Karimabad.

Begin your return journey. Drive back through Gilgit and the Rakaposhi Viewpoint. Cross the Babusar Pass or Karakoram Highway. Overnight stay in Naran or Besham depending on weather.
