1. Booking & Advance Payments

A minimum advance payment of 50% of the total tour value is strictly required to secure and finalize any premium hotel reservation, private transport allocation, or luxury jeep charter booking. The remaining 50% outstanding balance must be cleared in full before or on the day of departure.

Payments can be securely processed via bank transfers directly to our official corporate account, or through verified EasyPaisa/JazzCash merchant portals as coordinated by our reservation desk.

2. Refund & Cancellation Schedules

To cover initial advance hotel reservation deposits and vehicle charter lock-in costs, our refund schedule on customer cancellations is structured as follows. Approved refunds are normally processed within 15 working days.

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more before departure: 90% refund of the advance deposit amount.
  • Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before departure: 50% refund of the advance deposit amount.
  • Cancellations made 5 days before departure: 25% refund of the advance deposit amount.
  • Cancellations made less than 5 days before departure: Not eligible for any refund. The full advance deposit is non-refundable.

3. Responsibility & Travel Risks

GoRoute operates as an agent organizing specialized boutique travel, trekking, hotel reservation, and transport services. While we take every safety precaution, we are not liable for any injury, loss, health complications, property damage, baggage delays, or personal security issues arising from:

  • Natural calamities, earthquakes, avalanches, weather shifts, or security/political unrest.
  • High-altitude breathing difficulties, acute mountain sickness (AMS), or medical emergencies during treks in Karakoram or Himalaya chains.
  • Clients not complying with direct instructions from certified GoRoute tour guides.

4. Weather & Landslide Modifications

Travel routes in Northern Pakistan (such as the Karakoram Highway, Swat Babusar Top, or Skardu Astak Nala) are subject to sudden weather variations, heavy snowfall, and unexpected landslides.

GoRoute reserves the right to alter the travel itinerary or lodging allocations on the fly due to road blockages or high-risk warnings. Any direct additional lodging or boarding costs resulting from extended weather blockages beyond our itinerary schedule will be split proportionally or borne by the traveler.

5. 4x4 Mountain Jeep Charters

Tours to high-altitude zones (like Deosai Plains, Fairy Meadows, Naltar Valley, Swat Kalam forest ridges, or Saif-ul-Muluk) require specialized 4x4 off-road jeeps governed by local transport unions.

Passenger capacity per jeep is strictly capped at 6 passengers to ensure visual space and absolute passenger safety. Travelers must comply with driver instructions and safety belt guidelines on steep, unsealed cliffside routes.

6. User Behavior & Environmental Respect

GoRoute proudly advocates for sustainable and eco-friendly tourism in Pakistan's high ecosystems. All tour participants are strictly obligated to:

  • Dispose of all litter, plastic bags, and personal trash only inside designated waste zones. Never pollute natural glacial streams.
  • Respect the cultural heritage, traditions, conservative clothing guidelines, and lifestyle choices of localized mountain community villages.
  • Refrain from any unlawful actions or possession of banned materials during our transit blocks.
